This transformation into a fashion center is supported by its strong supply chain capabilities, evident in its diverse fashion sectors including high-fashion, luxury watches, and designer eyewear. Shenzhen’s fashion industry is notably robust, with over 2,500 apparel companies and a 42% share in global watch production, highlighting its emerging status in the global fashion landscape.
